Stuff,thangs

Trent began a mix of sobbing and speaking. He released the two and then turned to Jacob.


Tony turned to see Jacob. "Please tell me you two aren't dead..." He said aloud, his classic smile on his face as he began to walk over to Jacob.

Jacob remained a straight faced emotion. He shook his head and shifted his eyes down staring at the path.

Tony picked Jacob up, hugging him. He didn't say anything, just held him there. Silently crying.

Chris looked to the ground, he was hoping he'd find someone he lost. But that wasn't the plan, Chris had to find the records for mortals.

Jacob lifted his arms and hugged his father for the first time. He closed his eyes and a single tear fell out of his eye.

After a few moments Tony stepped back, sniffing and wiping his eyes. "So." He said, his voice cracky. "So." He said after clearing his throat." Why are you two here?" He asked, not noticing the others, Only Trent and Jacob.

Steven put a hand on Chris' shoulder. "Trust me, you'll get the chance." He turned Chris around and kept walking down the street towards the capitol, Horsenshire. He didn't check if Noelle followed or not.

Jacob turned his head away unable to answer. He watched Steven and Chris walk off.

"So what exactly are we looking for?" Noelle asked Chris, following them away from the others.

"I need to know... About an old friend" Chris said. He kept walking.

"Old girlfriend, childhood friend, or even a stripper you met?" Steven asked, trying to lighten up the mood.

"Best friend, I wronged him and he was taken because of my powers." Chris paused for a seconds then continued "I have to know if he died and if he's still alive I have to find him"

"Jacob. Come with me." Tony said, putting one arm around him, guiding him in the right direction. He did the same to Trent as they walked.

Jacob walked alongside his father.

Noelle looked around. "It's weird, I feel like I've been here before," she says, trailing off at the end.

"Prepare to look through endless files of dead people." Steven replied to Chris. "Horsenshire is New Heaven's capitol community, and it's filled with files of the dead people. Each street is a letter based on their last name."

Chris shuddered, he'd known what happened to the both of them "Probably... Just a coincidence. Deja vu?" Chris said quickly.

Noelle shrugged at Chris's comment. "Anyway, we should probably start looking."

"You'll know when we enter Horsenshire." Steven replied. "The color and life of the community literally ends, the buildings are plain white, no windows. Nothing."

"How have things been boys?" Tony asked, treating Trent as if he was his own. As he had back before his death.

"They've been.." Jacob started. "Let's just say, a rollercoaster of the good and the bad."

"That's how it always was. It will get worse before it gets any better." Tony said as they neared a small cafe looking thing at the end of a street.

Trent nodded as they walked. "I've taken ownership of Stark Industries, everything is going well.." He said, feeling like the small, innocent child he was back when they first met.

As soon as they saw Horsenshire Chris clutched his stomach "We're here" Chris mumbled.

Jacob nodded and put his hands on his belt. He continued walking.
