Stuff,thangs

Jacob opened his eyes with a subtle jolt. He had still sat in the same cross armed and cross legged position as the night before. He had slept on the roof while meditating. He felt the nice breeze of the city.

He uncrossed his arms and looked at his hands, a ring was burnt around his wrist. It seemed odd considering it was a blue cyan color. It immediately faded within a few seconds.

I go and sit by Jacob "Still devastated by your burger being squashed?" I ask.

Jacob blinked after the ring disappeared. He looked up and over to Chris. "Not really, although I think I was up here too long." He crossed his arms again and stared straight ahead. "What did I miss last night?"

"Well,Chris got rejected. Again. And we got a new guy" Trent said as he walked up to Jacob and Chris.

I shrug because it's pretty much true.

Jacob kept his arms and legs crossed. He didn't move his head but replied with a "Hm."

I look out at the city "Wanna do something?" I ask Jacob "It's a nice day"

Jacob shrugged his shoulders.

Jacob set his hands onto the edge of the tower and lifted himself onto the roof. He walked inside.

"Are you in a bad mood Jacob?" I ask him.

"No, Just going to my room to change." He was still wearing the pajamas he had on the night prior to this. "Why?"

"You just seem down" I admit.

"Nah." Jacob replied as he walked down the hall. "I'm actually quite happy for the day."

"You are? I'm having a bad week"

"Well what's wrong?" Jacob asked.

"Not sure, maybe I need to take a break from here..." I mumble

"Nah. Just do what I do and get some fresh air, get away from everyone else for a while." He walked down the hallway until he reached his room. "Excuse me for a moment." He walked in, and came out 3 minutes later wearing his dark blue denim jeans, his black hoodie and black nikes. He had his toxin belt on underneath the hoodie.

"Going somewhere?"

Jacob straightened the ends of his hood. "No, I don't got anywhere to be."

"Hm" I shrug "Things have been getting more difficult over time"

Jacob lifted his hand and motioned for Chris to keep on walking. "Like what?" He asked as he walked down the hallway.

"Girl troubles, Bad guys getting stronger, I mean look at omnipotence and see what he could do. If we hadn't stopped him where do you think a world without heroes would be... Enslaved? I don't know man, what if one day we can't stop an enemy. Winners will lose and heroes will fall.." I sigh "I'm afraid for that day to come"

Trent walks down the hallway, looking for Jacob. "We've got a problem in the workshop, Jacob follow me, Chris stay here." Trent said and then walked away again.

Jacob stopped for a moment, his hands in his pockets. "I know that day will come, that day is not now it wasn't yesterday, and it won't be tomorrow." He took his left hand from his pocket and held it in a prominent fist. "Girl troubles aren't too much of a worry." (☞ﾟ∀ﾟ)☞ Jacob then started to follow Trent.
