The Interplanetary Games

(Non Canon) The Avengers were in the waiting area on Planet 7-2t6, a planet which was 99.5% water. Why are they here you ask? Well, a few weeks had ago, the Avengers had gotten an invitation to a fighting tournament to 'test their skills'. The Announcer of the tournament stated the avengers being Planet Earth's strongest force and had respectively teleported them to the planet with no harm.

Jacob stared up at a hologram displaying over the large, lobby like area. The size of the room was about the size of Grand Central station, a few seats were scattered around with alien like creatures sitting around. The hologram hovering in the middle of the room displayed "10:05:32", it was counting down the time until the first contestants were called out onto the stage. Jacob looked towards the other Avengers unaware of what they got themselves into.

"I'm starting to regret this Jacob" I say a little uneasy, while looking at the aliens.

"You don't need to feel worried about these people Chris." Jacob responded talking about the aliens. "They are people too, just think of them as us, they were invited here as well."

The countdown table reached 9:50:05, an alarm went throughout the lobby alerting all contestants to get final sign up sheets, get any food or water they want and relax.

"So, what exactly are we doing here?" questions Jenny.

"Beats me." Jacob replied, he wasn't going to get the refreshments, they weren't Earthly Foods. "The Invitation we got was saying the announcer wanted to test who the strongest in the universe was. But I don't think it's quite just that."

"Who is stronger than us?' I ask grinning.

"I believe there are a few people." Jacob looked over the room noting a few humanoid creatures with antennae on their head, their whole body was green. "We don't know what lies beyond our moon."

Jenny glanced around the room, and said eagerly,"Think about how much science would advance if we could find out where some of them live."

Jacob glanced over at the countdown table, it read '8:24:05'. He glanced back and Jenny and started to speak. "We have 8 and a half minutes until the contestants begin, you should go and mingle."

Jenny hesitated, but searched around for the most human-like creatures in the room, and walked over to a group of aliens that looked quite a bit like us. Jenny just kind of stood there, a couple yards away, not exactly knowing what to say to not sound awkward or make enemies.

"I recommend you guys do the same, or enjoy the refreshments." Jacob joked, saying to the other Avengers. He started walking away until he struck up a conversation with one of the green humanoids.

"Fuck it," Jenny grumbled under her breath, and walked back to where the other Avengers were standing.

Jacob walked back to the other Avengers a few minutes later, the countdown now reading '2:15:14' He started speaking. "I wonder how many of these people can speak our language, the green guys over there spoke English pretty fluent." Jacob held his thumb back pointing to the green humanoids.

Ken was looking at all the contestants "Man this is gonna be fun!" He yelled // A strange man at least 6'10" walks into the waiting area with White armor, Helmet covering his face

"I would imagine a good portion of them have translators," Jenny replied.

Jacob noticed the man walk in, he didn't bother to check it out. The countdown struck 0 and the doorway to the seats opened up.

As soon as the seats were filled, the announcer, wearing rocket boots, floated up and onto the arena. The Arena was a huge 50 yard by 50 yard Cube of cement being supported by 4, heavy girders below. The Girders sank into the water and he waited for all the excited contestants to be quiet for him to explain the rules.

"Seems a little.. extreme," Jenny whispers to the others.

"Its a Universal fighting tournament, its fine" Ken said, eating some popcorn he got from a food stand nearby

The Announcer: "Helloooooo fellow Males, Females, Glabarts, and Regins! I am your host to this wonderful event you are all here for." The Announcer introduced himself for a minute or two and then proceeded onto the rules. "Alright, so to begin this lovely tournament we have here, This fight is a fight to the death! Show no mercy to your opponents no matter the cost! The only way a person can get out is if they fall out of the ring and into the water below." The announcer looked down the 20 foot drop into the water. "The first contenders we have here are none other than Trapor's guardian angel, Trom! Accompanied by none other than his fellow sidekick Popto!"

A Blue light appeared on one side of the arena, Trom and Popto the Traporations appeared on the arena from the stands.

The Announcer continues. "Now we have Planet Earth's defenders, The legendary Jacob Stark and the astounding Kenneth Barton!"

"We're up first? Wow" Ken said, standing up from his seat // The man takes his seat to watch the battle

The four contenders walked up to the announcer. They all set their hand out on top of his hand and recited the tournament's rules. The announcer blew a whistle and disappeared letting the fight begin.

Trom Kicked Jacob forward leaving Popto to fight Ken.

Popto roundhoused Ken in the face, Ken stumbling back a few steps. Now Ken was into the fight. Popto went for a kick but his leg was grabbed by Ken, he swung Popto away from him "Are suits allowed?!" He called towards Jacob

"Probably not, I'm not sure!" Jacob called back. He held his hands up as Trom's fists rapidly pounded against them. Jacob threw a punch and missed, scraping the side of Trom's head. He set his other hand on Trom's shoulder and pushed him forward. Jacob threw a kick but was rejected by Trom, He spun around and grabbed Trom's elbow which was coming his way, he held his other hand up and grabbed Trom's fist which was extended. Jacob flipped him over and onto the ground causing a small crack in the arena.
