Stuff,thangs

"Apparently." Jacob replied as he held his hand out and pushed Trent back. "Now hold up, what do you mean exactly?" Jacob asked Indigo.

Very, eh, competitive. Jenny thought back to him.  "I thought my skin tone made it quite obvious. I'm just here on a vacation from my home planet, Betelgeuse2," Indigo shrugged.

Jacob raised an eyebrow. "You mean Brazil? I heard some crazy mojo went on there."

Seems like a bitchCharlie thought back and watched the others talk.

Indigo gave a theatrical sigh,"You really aren't the brightest of species are you.  No, Betelgeuse Two, the original was blown to pieces.  I'm scientist specializing in research of foreign species." // Jenny didn't respond.

"Well you don't seem too bright either coming here." Jacob replied. "What caused it's destruction, or do you not know?"

Wasn't a good idea to come here,this isn't the brightest of species. Charlie said into Indigo's mind,not looking up from his book.

Indigo shrugged,"The more we understand the more we can help. And it was probably of natural causes."

"Hm." Jacob replied holding his hand up to his chin. "It's not really natural for a planet to implode. But hey, that's just a theory." Jacob gave a slight smile.

"Well that's not important. What is important however is what you people do for fun around here," Indigo smiled. "Plus I found this in a big metal box on the street," she held a wad of hundred dollar bills.

"That is called 'money' or 'cash' for short, I believe you got that from a thing we call an ATM Machine." Jacob replied.

"I've heard it's fairly useful, I can't imagine why. It doesn't seem like it can do anything, and it doesn't appear to be edible," Indigo examined a bill.

"It's not edible, but you can exchange it with something that is."

She tossed the money to the floor,"Anyway, fun? That's the word right? Have a good time? This is my vacation after all, and I don't want to waste it and have to wait another hundred years."

"You can only leave every one hundred years?"Charlie asked,standing up.

"Unless there's a research mission, that's about right," Indigo replied.

"Bad case of staying out past curfew or what?"

"Hm.."Charlie said and walked over to his spot on the couch,picking up his book.He began reading again.

"Stupid and boring, I really messed up this vacation didn't I," Indigo's face turned to a look of disgust.

"Yup you did, welcome to the life of a hero." Jacob replied setting his glass in the sink.

"Again, I don't think I can put this any more clearly than I have," Indigo spoke slowly as if she were talking to a child,"Fun, what do you do for fun?"

"Clearly, you do not understand what I am saying, I don't need to point out what you are witnessing." Jacob retorted.

Finally Jenny spoke up,"Okay, maybe it's time for you to leave Indigo." Jenny grabbed her by the arm and pushed her out the door before she could protest. "God, she's so annoying."
"I heard that!" There was a thump at the door.

"I was just barely starting to like that girl, why'd you make her leave?" Jacob smirked.

"Because she's a bitch? She was planning to become the same way with you any second."Charlie spoke up from behind the book.
