Jacob Stark: The New Generation is a 2017 American superhero film based on the ~Avengers~ Fan character of the same name. It is the first installment of the ~Avengers~ Cinematic Universe and the Jacob Stark film series. Directed by Shane Black, the film stars Jake Short as Jacob Stark, the son of the infamous Tony Stark, taken with his father on a trip to Afghanistan only to avenge the death of his father with his own hands and become the newest welder of the Iron Man suit. Zachary Gordon plays his best friend named Trent Washington, Martin Lawrence plays one of the antagonists in the film named Jonathan Connors, father of Chris Connors, and Josh Duhamel plays the five star general who later becomes the Iron Behemoth named Robert Anderson.
